Internal Refurbishment to Historic Building

This was a restoration project to restore and enhance a historic building thus preserving the character and creating a comfortable family home. Attention was paid to historic detailing throughout the internal restoration. Work included the installation of a new borrowed light to create a light shaft down through the landing area to the ground floor inner hall, new swept lower section to the main staircase to create a grand entrance hall, new oval internal light, new internal panelling and fire pieces, new cornices, new bathrooms including joinery details for doors, vanity units, bath surrounds, cupboards and wardrobes, replacement external doors including new oak front door.
